September – A time for new beginnings

For many, September is the time for new beginnings, especially for the parents amongst us. It is a time of having to be super organised and getting back into the swing of things after summer holidays and time off.

The 1st September is the start of our financial year. It always feels like the beginning of our next term and that we are starting the year that little bit older and wiser. We’ve set new business goals and ambitious targets to move us to the next level. Some of which will push us out out comfort zone, but that’s a good thing.

One of the team has also had a new start. Our creative designer Tina has take up a maternity cover position with Eastleigh Borough Council so will be taking a break from working with The Marketing Collective.

Tina and Jo worked together prior to The Marketing Collective and when Jo started the business back in 2010, it was Tina who developed the brand and gave an identity to what was in Jo’s head! Tina has worked on over 12 publications and numerous projects every year, giving visitor publications and magazines an impactful design.

Tina has been the lead creative behind Southampton Airport’s Breeze Magazine and the Hampshire Guest Guide, which was launched in 2011.  Plus she has been on hand to pull together fun and punchy adverts and graphics for various campaigns, not to mention the many team photos she has co-ordinated!

Whilst it isn’t cheerio to Tina, we feel the need to celebrate the last 8 years and acknowledge the support and commitment Tina has had to The Marketing Collective.

We will miss the Google Hangouts and Skype calls but look forward to tea and lunch dates!
