Start a Top Attractions group in your area
You already know the attractions down the road. You’ve probably talked about working together. Maybe you even started a group, met a few times, and then the season arrived and everyone went back to their own front gate.
That isn’t a lack of goodwill. It’s a lack of time. Everyone in the room is busy running an attraction.
That’s where The Marketing Collective comes in
Why attractions market better together
How a Top Attractions group works
A family planning a day out doesn’t think about one attraction. They think about the area: where to go, what else is nearby, whether it’s worth the drive. On your own, your budget buys a sliver of their attention. Pooled with your neighbours, it buys a campaign for the whole destination.
Members pay an annual fee. Together, those fees become the group’s marketing budget.
As a group, you set the direction. One area might want more print, another more digital. We bring years of knowing what works and help you choose.
We do the work. TMC runs the campaigns, website, social channels, email and reporting for a management fee, so your team gets its time back.
We start with around 20 members. That gives the group enough budget to do the job properly from day one.

FAQs - Questions attractions ask us
How many attractions do we need to get started?
Around 20. That’s the point where the shared budget can fund real activity across print, digital and social.
Who decides how the money is spent?
The members do. We bring recommendations and 20 years of experience; the group agrees on the plan, and we report back on what the budget delivered.
We already have an informal group. Can you take it on?
Yes. An existing group is a great place to start. We build on the relationships you already have and give them the momentum they’ve been missing.
How much does it cost?
Member fees depend on the size of the group and what it wants to achieve. The best way to find out is a conversation.
Does this replace our DMO?
No. A Top Attractions group is led by its attractions and focused on bringing visitors through members’ gates. It works alongside the wider destination marketing in your area.
Where do you run groups?
Hampshire, Sussex and Dorset. We’d especially love to hear from attractions in Cheshire and Staffordshire.
